Community rules

Journifans is satire. To keep it that way and make sure nobody gets hurt, these rules apply to everyone who has an account or uploads content.

1. Satire, no money

Subscriptions, prices, earnings and payments on Journifans are made up. Nobody pays anything and nobody receives anything. If you “buy” something on Journifans, all you get is a thank-you message.

2. Who can join

You must be at least 18. The campaign is aimed at journalists and media professionals. One account per person.

3. Only yourself

• Your profile shows you. You may exaggerate yourself as much as you like.
• Pretending to be another real person is forbidden, especially real journalists. Profiles, photos, quotes or posts in someone else’s name are removed and the account is banned.
• You may only show real people, or name them in a scene, with their consent.

4. Photos

• Only upload photos you hold the rights to and that show you (or your feet).
• No nudity, nothing sexual, no children. Feet pics are a joke about a well-known platform – and they stay harmless.
• No photos of other people without their consent.

5. Text

No defamation, insults, threats, hate or discrimination. No private data of others (addresses, phone numbers and so on). No advertising, no spam. Quote accurately and respect copyright.

6. Approval and moderation

Photos, your own quotes, your own kinks and posts are checked before they are published. Until then only you and the moderators can see them. People we trust can publish without waiting; their content is checked afterwards too. We may reject or remove content without giving reasons and ban accounts that break these rules.

7. Images for sharing

By uploading, you allow us to show your approved content on Journifans and to turn it into share images with the Journifans logo that you and others may share on social networks. You can switch these images off in your profile and delete your content or your whole account at any time. Copies already shared on social networks are beyond our control.

8. Reporting

If content concerns you or breaks these rules, use “Report” on the profile or post. In urgent cases, write to karpi@aperofilm.ch.

9. Liability

Journifans is a satirical project with no guarantee of availability or freedom from errors. The people who publish content are responsible for it.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may change these rules; the current version is always on this page. Swiss law applies.
